Zone d’Erotica is about to become a restaurant

Velvet Taco’s  expansion plans  in Houston led it to moving into an interesting piece of real estate. Lingerie and adult novelty boutique (and  infamous landmark ) Zone d’Erotica near Galleria’s Dillard’s is about to become a Velvet Taco outpost,  per CultureMap Houston.

Burger-chan is opening up in the Galleria area

The Greenway Plaza food court eatery  Burger-Chan  is opening up a new shop at 5353 West Alabama St. CultureMap Houston  has the details on the second location , which will go beyond burgers with steaks and more.

Russo’s New York Pizzeria is going into the brewery business

Local chain Russo’s New York Pizzeria is brewing up their own beer.  Houston Business Journal  reports that Russo’s New York Italia Pizza Kitchen & Brewery is debuting later this year at 3415 Katy Freeway. There will be pizza and four types of craft beer. The plan is already ambitious: the pizzeria wants to open 20 more breweries in five years.
