The son of first-generation Italian immigrants, Chef Anthony Russo grew up in a New Jersey home where the kitchen was the center of family life. There was always cooking and baking at home, and many of the ingredients came from the family garden, just as his Grandpa and Nona Russo did back in Avellino, Italy.

In traditional Italian families, some of life’s greatest joys take place around the table. Chef Russo is a first generation Italian, and every menu item is uniquely made with premium ingredients. We use fresh, natural, non-GMO, high-quality ingredients all baked to perfection in brick ovens. Our menu was developed by Chef Russo using family recipes from Naples and Sicily.

Do I Need Restaurant Experience?

Restaurant experience is not required, but is definitely a plus. Russo’s will support you every step of the way. We have an extensive four to six week training program. You will experience everything hands-on from prepping dough, making lasagna, our homemade soups and dressings, to cooking the perfect pepperoni pizza and chicken parmesan. We firmly believe you only get out of it what you put into it. Training sets you and your team up for success. If you are willing to learn and are 100% engaged, Russo’s New York Pizzeria and Italian Kitchen offers the potential for long-term success.

8 Steps To Owning

We’re excited to have your passion for entrepreneurship! Join the Russo’s family tradition of serving quality, authentic family recipes. With these few steps, you’re well on your way to becoming part of the family!
APPLY:
Prospective franchisees receive and review Russo’s New York Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen franchise information packet, then returns the completed confidential application to the corporate office.
DISCOVERY DAY:
Pre-qualified prospective franchisees are invited to visit the corporate office.
QUALIFYING:
Russo’s Franchise team reviews candidate information and notifies candidates that they are approved or denied.
FRANCHISE DISCLOSURE:
The Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) is sent to the approved candidate to be reviewed within 10 days, after which, the candidate pays the franchise fee.
LOCATION SEARCH:
The Russo’s team will discuss site guidelines and assist in determining if the requested location’s demographics, region, and marketplace is the right fit.
BUILDOUT:
We offer support on architecture, floor plan development, kitchen layout, and interior design including all furniture and fixtures. We’ll assist you during the entire journey.
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT:
Your comprehensive training & orientation plan will be scheduled in Houston, Texas. During this time, we will train you on front of house and back of house operations, processes, and procedures.
GRAND OPENING:
Our operations team will be available to support you during your new store opening. From delivery to kitchen set up and training your staff, we’ll be with you all the way to the grand opening!
