The Franchise Expo South took place during the first week of February in Houston, our home market. Conveniently, there are also more than 20 Russo’s New York Pizzerias and Russo’s Coal-Fired Italian Kitchens in Houston as well.
Drawing a crowd of more than 10,000 franchisees, franchisors, vendors, media and visitors, the Expo South provides an opportunity for all interested in franchising to come together to see the industry’s best and brightest. With a significant presence established in Houston, Russo’s stood out at the Expo South as a successful collection of concepts deeply rooted in authentic, fresh Italian cuisine, a commitment to serving the community and friendly, casual service.
After showcasing the concepts at the Expo South, Russo’s took interested parties on a tour of the Russo’s Restaurants in town as well as gave them an opportunity to meet current employees and franchisees. Russo’s also held two discovery days in order to educate and inform future single- and multi-unit owners.
“Many people have considered owning their own businesses – they’re tired of working for the man, but they’re nervous about the financial risk. That’s why Russo’s is such a great fit – the concept is proven, and dozens of people have found success in owning one or both of the restaurants,” said Jim Carr, director of franchise development for Russo’s Restaurants. “The Expo South was an incredible way to get to know the future of Russo’s. We encourage anyone interested in business ownership to reach out – we’re happy to discuss why Russo’s is the perfect choice.”
